Nêu topic (ngày này tại  một số nước tồn tại kiểu gia đình có nhiều thế hệ  (extended family) 

Việc sống chung với người cao tuổi có nhiều thuận lợi và không thuận lợi

Thân bài 

Đoạn 1 ( Nói về Thuận lợi) 

Câu topic: there are some benefits when living with the old people.

  • They take care of babies 
  • They do house chores
  • Bring valuable experiences for other members 

Đoạn 2 ( Nói về Không Thuận lợi) 

Câu topic: However, Living with the elderly brings  family some drawbacks

  • family conflicts  ( mâu thuẫn gia đinh) can happen because of generation gap ( khoảng trống/ cách giữa các thế hệ ) .  For example, the differences in raising babies 
  • The elderly usually do not make money, so They can be a financial burden (gánh nặng tài chính) 
  • The old people tend to get sick while their children are busy with work. 

Kết bài  (Tổng hợp ý chính)

Việc sống cùng người già có nhiều thuận lợi và không thuận lợi. 

Mỗi gia đình tùy theo hoàn cảnh mà nên quyết định có sống cùng người già không.

(Each family depends  on certain circumstances when….) 

TASK 2 HOW TO WRITE OUTLINE (ADVANTAGE AND DISADVANTAGE)

Trong quá trình thầy dạy, có nhiều bạn không biết bắt đầu từ đâu khi gặp bài writing essay task 2 . Nguyên nhân của điều này là do các bạn chưa biết lập dàn ý hay viết outline nhé. 

Hướng dẫn Outline cho dạng bài advantage 

Introduction (Mở Bài) 

Talking about topic (You need to paraphrase) ( đề cập đến chủ đề, em cần paraphrase) 

Paraphrase the given problem/issue has advantages and disadvantages (Diễn đạt lại là vấn đề trong bài có thuận lợi và không thuận lợi) 

Say what are you going to do (you can skip this part) ( Nói rằng bạn đang muốn làm gì) (phần này có thể bỏ qua) 

Example 

Nowadays, Many people tend to study abroad. What are advantages and disadvantages for this?

At presents, there are increasing number of people choosing to study abroad. However, this has some benefits and drawbacks. In the essay below, the issue will be considered in details. 

Body (Thân bài) 

Body 1: 

Topic sentence: Show the main content of the first body ( chỉ ra nội dung chính đoạn 1) 

studying abroad brings many positives. 

Support sentences ( Các câu giải thích, đưa ví dụ) . 

Using some keywords like ( sử dụng một số keyword) 

  • Broaden knowledge about culture, people ( mở rộng kiến thức văn hoá, con người) 
  • Studying in high quality education system ( học trong một môt trường có chất lượng giáo dục cao) 
  • Improve foreign languages ( cải thiện ngoại ngữ) 

Body 2:

Topic sentence: Show the main content of the second body ( Chỉ ra nội dung chính của đoạn 2 ) 

However, Students often encounter some the negative aspects when they study overseas. 

Using keywords such as:

  • language barrier (rào cản ngôn ngữ)
  • Culture shock ( the differences of culture that shock/surprise people. ( Sốc văn hóa) 
  • finance (tài chính) 
  • Missing home (nhớ nhà) 

In conclusion 

  • Rewriting the main point of the essay ( viết lại ý chính)
  • Suggesting trend, or new idea 

In summary, Although studying abroad has some negative consequences, I still believe that this will be a positive trend in the future.
